Our Story & Vision

How the idea came about

As the father of two adorable daughters, I read or told bedtime stories every night. Over time, though, repeating the same tales grew stale, so I began inventing new ones. The girls were thrilled and often set the themes themselves to make it even more fun.

That’s how dozens of stories came to be—about animals, princesses, and completely ordinary things right in front of them: a window, a wardrobe, or a bedside lamp. Even then, I told myself I would write them down one day. A few years later, the time had come, and I decided to go all in. The result is slumberlandtales.com — a place where our bedtime stories are shared with other families.

More than fairy tales

My vision is to build the portal into more than just a library of fairy tales. The World of Fairy Tales should be a vibrant, safe space for discovery. Alongside the stories, children will find articles that build on the themes of the tales and turn curious questions into playful learning. For parents, there’s a blog with practical tips and advice to ease bedtime routines, support children’s development, and inspire shared activities. I’m also creating original songs with animated music videos, so that words are joined by music and movement.

And that’s not all—new sections and learning materials will be added over time: colouring pages, logic and fun games, and ideas for shared moments between children and parents. I want this place to become a guide to the world of childhood, where imagination naturally blends with learning.
